A torn fabric doesn't necessarily mean the end of an antique lampshade
When discovering a damaged antique lampshade, it is common to assume that it is beyond saving.
Torn fabric, yellowed lining, detached trims, missing fringe, a distorted frame... all of these signs can make it seem as though replacement is the only option.
Yet in the vast majority of cases, restoration or reinvention remains possible.
