Shipping and Returns
Shipping
The lighting pieces and lampshades offered by L’Héritière des Belles Ombres are carefully packaged to ensure their protection during transport.
Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer at the time of purchase.
Shipping times may vary depending on:
• the availability of the pieces
• the complexity of the creation
• the destination of the delivery.
As each piece is prepared with great care, a preparation time may be required before shipment.
The atelier cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier.
Receiving Your Package
Upon receiving the package, the customer is invited to check the condition of the packaging and the product.
In the event of damage observed during transport, the customer must contact the atelier within 48 hours, providing photographs of the package and the product.
Returns
The lighting pieces offered on the site are handcrafted and often unique, sometimes incorporating antique elements.
Restored antique objects may show signs of aging related to their history and age. These characteristics are part of the piece’s charm and authenticity and cannot be considered defects.
As each piece is unique and derived from antique objects, the customer acknowledges having reviewed the photographs and product description before placing an order. Confirming the order constitutes acceptance of these characteristics.
Due to their fragility and unique nature, returns are not accepted except in the case of damage during shipping.
Bespoke Creations
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, bespoke or personalized creations are not eligible for a right of withdrawal.
Products Damaged During Shipping
If a product is damaged during shipping, the customer must contact the atelier within 48 hours after receiving the package.
Photographs of the package and the product will be requested in order to file a claim with the carrier.
