Althéa is a table lamp composed of an antique alabaster and gilded brass base, dating from the early 20th century (circa 1910–1930).

Its twisted alabaster base, carved with a soft, luminous translucency, evokes the refined lighting that adorned interiors of the Belle Époque and the early Art Deco period.

The lampshade has been entirely imagined and handcrafted in the atelier, with respect for traditional balance and artisanal craftsmanship.

Made of white silk, it is lined with champagne silk, diffusing a warm, enveloping, subtly golden light.

Its flowing silhouette is enriched by a delicate interplay of materials: a central rosette in pleated mousseline, accompanied by lace, brings structure, depth, and lightness to the composition.

An ivory satin trim outlines its contours, while 96 strands of glass beads, individually hand-mounted, animate the lampshade with fluid movement and a subtle, precious shimmer.

The whole forms a piece of singular luminous presence, where the nobility of the antique base meets the richness of textiles and the time of the handmade gesture.
